Membership at Shimama Organization

Shimama Organization is a voluntary aid organization that extends a helping hand to orphans, school and education, women and people with disabilities. The organization was founded on 15/07/2022 and conducts its work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The aim is to make arrangements so that people who find themselves in difficulties will be able to stand on their own two feet. The organisation's wish and aim is inclusion and creating independence.

Shimama Organization is run without profit considerations, all work is based on voluntary efforts and all financial funds that come in are used for the organisation's work and purposes. We are therefore dependent on more members and membership fees. Anyone who is interested in the Shimama Organisation's work can register as a member. We have three different memberships:voluntary member,supporting member andhonorary member. None of the memberships have a binding period.

Voluntary member

This is any person who wants to help with the activities the organization runs. This must be based on voluntariness. There is no requirement for a membership fee for voluntary members, but you can contribute a desired amount if it is possible.

Supporting member

This is any person who shows a special interest in the organisation's work. These will be the organisation's closest supporters.

NOK 100 a month

Honorary member

Honorary members are any person, company or sponsor who is passionate about our work. The person must excel through personal or collective actions for the benefit of the organisation. This means a good financial contribution to the organisation.

Membership fee:

NOK 500 a month

*None of the memberships have a lock-in period.*
